 CHEMICAL METHOD - Day -1

Use the empty container as mentioned shown in the photo 200 liters plastic drum, clean it, and fill it with water approx 70%.
add formalin 140ml/100 liters water and carbendazim 50% w/v 10 grams/100 liters
Mix the chemical into the water properly and put the straw gunny bags inside. Use some heavy weight to push the straw inside water for 2,3 inches  using cement blog for weight and cover this drum for 24 hrs period and chemical will kill all the infections inside the straw

DAY -2

Drain the water from the gunny bags for 3 to 4 hours and spread the straw into the clean area or clean the surface with formaline and water solution and let it dry for 1,2 hours for fumigation .Dry and try to turn over the straw at least 2,3 times at a certain interval.

SPAWNING/BEEJAE

Before spawning check, the moisture contains in the straw it should be below 60% and water should not stagnate anywhere. There are two types of methods the Mixing method and the Layering method.  We are using the layering method and LD bags size 12*18 and the Ratio proportion is 10% of wet straw average spawn we use is 100 grams of spawn in 3 kg of wet bags. Keep the spawn corner edges of the polybag and put every 2 inches of gaps after completing 3-4 layers tie the bags tightly with rubber or any thread.
(Always remember try to make holes just after completion of the bags never delay this process otherwise mycelium will not run properly).Holes should be made with a clean object and put cotton afterward.

Keep this bag for incubation .
