A golden oyster is also known as a yellow oyster. This mushroom is very eye-appealing and attractive to customers. It is one of the exotic varieties of mushrooms that can survive at a high temperature and produces a fast fruiting body as compared to other commercial oyster mushroom varieties. It can be sold at culinary fine dining and fresh department stores.
Observation and result on Golden oyster mushroom observed by the author in the summer season.
1. On the 21st of August we have done spawning of Golden oyster.
2 . On the 2nd of September, it starts pinning within 12 days, at 24-28 Celsius and relative humidity +85%.
3. Multi-pinhead formation and big cluster under 26 Celsius in 2 days.
